2nd International exhibition Turkmengurlusyk 2010 and scientific conference «Development of Construction Industry of Turkmenistan» will be held in the modern Exhibition center “Sergi Koshgi”of the Turkmenistan Capital Ashgabat on August 20-22, 2010.

Turkmengurlusyk-2009 exposition dedicated to the achievements and further development of one of the priority sectors of Turkmen economy was the first one in the history of Turkmen construction industry.
The three-day exposition at the Exhibition Centre showcased the versatile potential of construction industry in Turkmenistan to the visitors. A variety of construction machines, carrying and lifting, erection and measuring equipment, module concrete-mixing and brick-making plants and many other things were presented at the exhibition.

The impressive representation at the exhibition proves intense interest showed by foreign partners in cooperation with Turkmenistan that relies on advanced technologies and innovations. About a 100 of the foreign companies from more than 20 countries worldwide, most of which are the world’s leading producers, had their pavilions at Turkmengurlusyk-2009 Exposition. These include Komatsu and Itochu (Japan), HOCHTIEF, Wirtgen and Novelis (Germany), STRABAG (Austria), WYG (United Kingdom), Capital Longji (China), VINCI (France), Polimeks, Sehil, Ekol (Turkey), Amman Rusland, EVRAZ (Russia)
Of course, numerous Turkmen construction companies of different forms of ownership that actively contribute to implementing the construction and urban development projects in the country arranged their expositions at the Exhibition Centre.
President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov addressed the welcoming statement to participants of the international exhibition and conference on development of construction industry in Turkmenistan.

The country increases production of nonmetallic materials, cement, glass, brick, asbestos-cement materials, large-panel structures. The metallurgical works with estimated capacity is 160,000 tons a year put into operation recently in Ovadandepe.

The private sector in increasingly involved in construction business. The construction sector is on the top list of the business interest of Turkmen entrepreneurs who more actively contributes to implementing the complex urban development program throughout the country. That is proved by the contracts for construction of 15 apartment houses in the western part of the Turkmen capital and Abadan concluded with private enterprises Ak tam, Doganlar and Ajayip Bina.

The white-marble capital of Turkmenistan is in the vanguard of the unprecedented changes taking place throughout the country. The building premiers in Ashgabat are the ‘visit card’ of the main city and the man-made symbols of the new historical epoch. Paramount importance is attached to beautification and renovation of the architectural look of the Turkmen capital.
