3rd International exhibition Turkmengurlusyk 2012 and scientific conference «Development of Construction Industry of Turkmenistan» will be held in the modern Exhibition center “Sergi Koshgi”of the Turkmenistan Capital Ashgabat on August 23-25, 2012.
Organizers: Ministry of Construction of Turkmenistan, Ministry of Industry of Construction Materials of Turkmenistan, Chamber of commerce of Turkmenistan.
Turkmengurlusyk-2011 exposition dedicated to the achievements and further development of one of the priority sectors of Turkmen economy was the successful.
The three-day exposition at the Exhibition Centre showcased the versatile potential of construction industry in Turkmenistan to the visitors. A variety of construction machines, carrying and lifting, erection and measuring equipment, module concrete-mixing and brick-making plants and many other things were presented at the exhibition.
The impressive representation at the exhibition proves intense interest showed by foreign partners in cooperation with Turkmenistan that relies on advanced technologies and innovations. Over 120 of the foreign companies 15 countries worldwide, most of which are the world’s leading producers, had their pavilions at Turkmengurlusyk-2010 Exposition.
Of course, numerous Turkmen construction companies of different forms of ownership that actively contribute to implementing the construction and urban development projects in the country arranged their expositions at the Exhibition Centre.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the welcoming statement to participants of the international exhibition and conference on development of construction industry in Turkmenistan.

The construction industry is one of the most important sectors of Turkmenistan economy, many of objects is built mainly by foreign construction companies, using high-performance building techniques and modern technologies. For major targeted programs large funds are allocated.
At present, about 2100 facilities worth 32.3 billion dollars are being built in Turkmenistan.
The urban program, implemented in the capital - Ashgabat, covers all aspects of city life, to improve power supply reliability in Ashgabat a project worth nearly 2.3 billion euros to be implemented until 2020. For successful holding V Asian Games in Ashgabat construction of the Olympic village has already begun, the ceremonial laying of the foundation of which was held November 5, 2010 with the participation of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, who alocated for the first phase of the project almost $ 2 billion.
During the implementation of the National Programme on the social and living conditions in villages, towns, cities, districts and etrap centers for the period until 2020 over 1.4 billion dollars investment has already disbursed, within it households with total area 1 million 200 thousand square meters, dozens of schools, hospitals, kindergartens, thousands of kilometers of new roads, gas and water pipelines, power lines and other facilities fully commissioned. Industry and transport infrastructure receives the further development.
Impressive construction works are carried out in the National Tourist Area “AWAZA”. In July 2010 according to the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov a new phase of AWAZA development launched, within which a number of new recreational, sporting, cultural and entertainment centers, modern industry has greatly expanded sports and entertainment will be erected.
Further dynamics of housing construction will give the “National Programme of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan for the period 2011-2030”, adopted in May 2010 by Council of Elders in Dashoguz. In 2011 in Turkmenistan is also accepted substantial state budget, envisaging expenditure increase by 28,3 percent, or nearly five billion dollars.
Growth rate of real GDP in 2010 amounted to 109,2%, in construction - 116%. In 2010 in the construction sector 120 objects and buildings of industrial, social and cultural purpose for a total of 4,8 billion U.S. dollars were built.
In 2011, the Jubilee year - the year the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence - objects worth about $ 7 billion will be built and commissioned.
